Held every three years, the Racine Art Guild Juried Show is an exhibition that features artists who, as a nonprofit member organization, actively promote and advance the creative arts in Racine and surrounding communities.
Join us for a night of Local Art and celebration in Uptown! The Uptown Street Gallery will be an open house gallery fundraiser in support of The #ArtForUptown movement to bring more public art to the area. The gallery will feature the 5 local photographers whose works are now on display in the windows of the Uptown Business District.
There will be a silent auction to purchase an exclusive edition print of each of the photos featured in the Uptown Windows as well as a separate gallery of other works by the photographers. Come meet the artists involved in this inaugural exhibition and find out how you too can be a part of future #ArtForUptown projects.
Sounds for the night will be provided by a selection of local DJ’s.
There will be a $5 suggested donation at the door. All proceeds from the door and silent auction sales will go towards future #ArtForUptown projects. A portion of the sales from the artist gallery will also benefit future projects. This will be an all ages event.
